This website is a virtual convener. It facilitates a 'handshake' between teachers interested in cross collaboration project. The comforts in connectivity, constructivism, and collaboration make this 'handshake' more intelligent. This virtual convener is based on connecting teachers using more than simply the grade level or location of classrooms.

Really nice collaborative science site. Access resources, partake in discussions, set up virtual classroom spaces, connect to other teachers, scientists, etc.

"Quest2Teach is a series of game-infused 3D virtual learning curricula designed for teacher education that is unified by a social-professional network. These immersive experiences provide authentic and individualized practice for future teachers that bridges theory and practice. Quest2Teach is the first of its kind in teacher education and was created at ASU's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College through a unique collaboration between our Center for Games & Impact and partner game-design studio, E-Line Media."

Lauded as a learning tool, the popular virtual world is now being used by teachers for their own enrichment, providing them with a wealth of opportunities for collaboration, peer interaction, and sharing of resources.

EduCon 2.2 is both a conversation and a conference. And it is not a technology conference. It is an education conference. It is, hopefully, an innovation conference where we can come together, both in person and virtually, to discuss the future of schools. Site lets teachers post a question online. Students then respond via webcam (no account required) and have their (moderated) comment added to a really great-looking video wall online. Site does cost $65 annually, but that includes 10 walls and virtually endless questions/responses.
